Dantan Manav Kalyan Kendra (DMKK),
in collaboration with the Horticulture Department of Paschim Medinipur District, successfully organized a one-day farmer training camp. The primary objective of this camp was to educate farmers about soil health testing, its importance, and the proper method of soil sample collection. Additionally, the session included discussions on organic farming practices and their benefits.

Key Highlights of the Training Camp:
✅ Farmers were introduced to the importance of soil health and its impact on crop yield.
✅ Practical training was provided on soil sample collection methods.
✅ Detailed discussions were conducted on organic farming techniques and how they contribute to sustainable agriculture.
✅ Participants had the opportunity to visit the Soil Testing Laboratory and Organic Farming Field at DMKK to gain hands-on experience.
At the end of the session, a total of 40 farmers received hands-on training on soil sample collection techniques, equipping them with valuable knowledge for improving their agricultural practices.
