Dantan Manav Kalyan Kendra (DMKK), in collaboration with the National Institute of Locomotor Disabilities (NILD) in Kolkata, conducted an assessment camp for individuals with vision impairments. During this camp, experts from NILD identified beneficiaries and determined the specific types of aids they required.
Following the assessment, DMKK organized a distribution camp for the identified individuals with disabilities (PwDs). Beneficiaries received various prosthetic aids, including smart kits, science kits, and folding sticks. Additionally, select PwDs are scheduled to receive smartphones and laptops. This initiative underscores DMKK’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities by providing them with essential aids and appliances.
