Niyoti Day Care Centre is a nurturing space dedicated to the holistic development of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). Operating under the Disha cum Vikaas scheme of the National Trust, DMKK’s Day Care Centre caters to individuals with conditions such as Mental Retardation, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and Multiple Disabilities, aged five years and above.
The centre serves 38 PwDs from various locations, offering a range of services facilitated by a dedicated team including one Special Educator, one Early Intervention Therapist, one Counselor, two Caregivers, one Physiotherapist, one Speech Therapist, two Ayas, and one Cook. Among the beneficiaries, 30 belong to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, 4 to the Low Income Group (LIG), and the remaining 5 to the Non-LIG category.

To ensure the convenience of the beneficiaries, two cars are available for transportation to and from the centre. The centre celebrates the birthday of each beneficiary, emphasizing their individuality and importance. Regular health check-up camps are organized by doctors from Dantan Rural Hospital and specialist doctors.

Operating from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm every day except Sunday and government holidays, the centre provides lunch to all beneficiaries. Beneficiaries above 18 years of age receive vocational training in activities such as wall hanging making, envelope making, rakhi making, and greetings card making. Some beneficiaries also receive training in domestic tasks, such as serving meals to others during lunchtime.
