on the occasion of International Women’s Day, Dantan Manav Kalyan Kendra organized a special program. To commemorate this day, the bust of Sri Sri Thakur Ramakrishna Paramahamsadev and the statue of Bharat Mata were unveiled. The program was inaugurated by Swami Mayadhishanandaji Maharaj, Principal, Ramakrishna Math and Mission, Kanthi.
The event was attended by 65 women social workers who have dedicated themselves to social welfare work. In particular, 7 women were awarded commemorative awards for their outstanding contributions. Out of these, 5 have become self-reliant through animal husbandry and mushroom cultivation after receiving training from NABARD, and they are helping more women to become self-reliant.
The event was enriched with dance, songs and valuable speeches by distinguished guests. This grand event celebrated the power of women and inspired them to become self-reliant.
