The programme aimed to provide warmth, care, and dignity to elderly persons and children with disabilities during the winter season.

The programme was graced by the presence of Dr. Tapan Kumar Tripathi, President of DMKK; Mr. Subhashis Maikap, Secretary of DMKK; Mr. Debashis Bhowmik, President of Dakshineswar Bhalobasa Sangha; and Mr. Biswajit Pal, Secretary of the Sangha. As part of the initiative, 150 elderly men and women from surrounding villages received blankets and seasonal fruits (oranges). In addition, 70 children with disabilities were provided with blankets, educational materials, seasonal fruits, and were also served midday meals. Beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude, sharing how this support brought comfort and relief during the harsh winter.

The cultural segment of the programme featured dance and yoga performances by children with disabilities from DMKK, showcasing their talents and confidence. Local artists also enriched the event with musical performances, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere.

The programme was organized in loving remembrance of Late Pulin Bihari Mallik, a dedicated social worker whose unfinished humanitarian mission continues through the sincere efforts of Sri Nadia Bihari Mallik and Smt. During the event, the Secretaries of both organizations highlighted their respective activities and reaffirmed their shared commitment to serving marginalized and vulnerable communities.
