Tuberculosis Eradication Programme

DMKK and CBCI-CARD jointly worked in five blocks i.e. Dantan-I, Datan-II, Mohanpur, Keshiyari and Kharagpur-I Block under Paschim Medinipur district to support the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme. Total eight volunteers were there and gave their effort to eradicate TB. Total 4084 households visits were conducted in the last five months and 218 suspected patients were referred for sputum test. Eight Positive cases have been detected by our volunteers. Side by side two health check up camps were done in Dantan-I & in Dantan-II Block.
