Under the National Trust – Empowering Persons with Disabilities (PwDs)
The Niramaya health insurance scheme is one of the initiatives by the National Trust. As a Registered Organization (RO), DMKK actively implements this scheme. Disability categories recognized by the National Trust are enrolled in the program through DMKK. Upon successful registration, each beneficiary receives a Niramaya Health card. The scheme provides insurance coverage of up to Rs 1 lakh. DMKK has successfully registered and issued Niramaya health cards to more than 2,000 beneficiaries. After receiving treatment, insured individuals’ family members can submit claims to the insurance company, potentially receiving benefits up to Rs 1 lakh.
