YOUTH DEVELOPMENT & IMPORTANT DAYS OBSERVATIONS

Youth Development

Youth development is a process that prepares a young person to meet the challenges of adolescence and adulthood and achieve his or her full potential. Youth development is promoted through activities and experiences that help youth develop social, ethical, emotional, physical and cognitive competencies. On behalf of organization we have invited and involved the local youth in several celebration programmes to promote national integration, for their psychological development, increase their learning on several issue apart from school and college education and so on.

World Environment Day Observation

This year Dantan Manav Kalyan Kendra along with Krishnapur Unprivileged Service Society observed World Environment Day on 5th June. 52 youths from different 15 clubs took part in the programme. Every participant was given sapling after the programme. Tree plantation was also done at DMKK compound on this observance day.

Children’s Day Celebration

During the year, the children of Niyoti Day Care Centre & Jamuna Balika Abas under DMKK celebrated Children’s day at the meeting hall of Dantan Manav Kalyan Kendra. The special children of Jamuna Balika Abas & Niyoti Day Care Centre took part in the programme. All children along with staff of DMKK and guests pay garland and flower to the statue of Pt Jaharlal Nehru. The children performed dance, recitation and yoga to celebrate the day.

Independence Day celebration

This year also DMKK celebrated 74th Independence Day with pomp and grandeur at the office premises of Dantan Manav Kalyan Kendra. All special children of Jamuna Balika Abas & Niyoti Day Care Centre, parents of students, staffs, Board members of DMKK & the others renowned person of the locality and from district participated in the programme. After flag hoisting and tribute honour to the freedom fighter a pleasing cultural programme has been arranged by the students of Niyoti Day Care Centre and the inmates of Jamuna Balika Abas at the office meeting hall.

International Disabled Day Celebration

Our local client group members and the children under Niyoti Day Care Centre & Jamuna Balika Abas celebrated International Disabled Day on 3rd December gorgeously in Dantan –I Block. All special children of Jamuna Balika Abas, Niyoti Day Care Centre & other disabled persons of the locality, parents of beneficiaries, staffs, Board members of DMKK & the respectable persons of the locality participated in the programme. Some eminent persons remained present and encouraged all the special children.

Gandhi Jayanti & Rabindra Jayanti Celebration

The women self-group members and children under Niyoti Day Care Centre & Jamuna Balika Abas celebrated Bapuji’s birth day on 2nd October and the birth day of Rabi Thakur on 9th May at the meeting hall of Dantan Manav Kalyan Kendra. The special children of Jamuna Balika Abas, Niyoti Day Care Centre & staffs of DMKK were participated in the programme. After giving tribute and garland to them we discussed them about their life and works.

Holi and Rakhi Bandhan Utsav

The Children & local people under Jamuna Balika Abash & Niyati Day Care Centre and all the staffs celebrated Holi, the festival of Colour and the Rakhi Bandhan Utsav at Dantan Manav Kalyan Kendra. The special children of Jamuna Balika Abas & Niyati Day Care Centre visited different Govt. offices and they share their joy with other office personnel giving those colours and beding Rakhis in the hand of officers and office staff. The Rakhis made by the special children of Jamuna Balika Abash & Niyoti Day Care Centre.

Birth Day Celebration of Swami Vivekananda

The children of Niyoti Day Care Centre & Jamuna Balika Abas celebrated birth day of Swami Vivekananda at the office building of DMKK on 12th January 2021. The special children of Jamuna Balika Abas & Niyoti Day Care Centre, the teachers & the other staffs of DMKK participated in the programme. The photo of Vivekananda was decorated with flowers everyone gave honour to the respectable leader. His life, works, words and writings are really inspired all of us and we discussed Him all the day.

International Women’s Day Observation

A large number of women self-help group members about 200 of E-Shakti Programme took part in the programme on 8 March. This day was celebrated to show respect to women. Some guests were also invited to take part in the programme and deliver speech to encourage women. Some of the participants shared their experience and how they are working to empower women through group formation.
